AISL is a small family-owned language school with a maximum of about 40 students situated in central Buenos Aires, close to the Obelisk, in the beautiful and fashionable district of Recoleta - an ideal place to learn everything from Survival Spanish to advanced history and literature.
Our staff, established in 1996, began operating under the name AISL in 2009. We are of medium size: small enough to provide a personal service, but large enough to have excellent facilities and resources. We are a professional organization and over the years have earned a reputation for excellent standards of teaching, combined with personal care and attention, as well as a truly warm and friendly atmosphere, all at sensible prices (from USD 170 per week).
We have excellent teachers, of course, but we know that a good school is about much more than the course itself. We offer a full range of services designed to make your experience with us useful, stimulating and fun from the moment you start to plan until after you get home.
AISL is a member of SEA - Asociación de Centros de Idiomas, the Argentine Association of Language Centers. SEA requires its' associated Spanish schools in Argentina to provide the highest standard of services to students, and continuous training to teachers.
You can start your program any week-day, year-round.

Group Courses
These classes are small, typically only 3 to 6 students, with similar levels of proficiency. AISL keeps classes small so that we can provide students with lots of personal attention.
AISL recommends the group classes to students who will be making longer visits, especially if they are interested in complementing their language studies with other cultural, sightseeing, and social experiences.
Home-stay
- Breakfast is included. Dinner can be provided at home (optional).
- Comfortable private or double rooms, with private or shared bathroom.
- AISL chooses your home-stay based on your preferences (smoking/non-smoking; couple with children/no children; etc) and your specific requirements (specific diet, no pets, etc.)
- Students staying with host families have total freedom to come and go as they please since they have their own house key.
- Host families homes are located in neighborhoods close to AISL and the city center. All families have been carefully selected and are monitored so that your home stay experience is to your complete satisfaction. AISL considers the level of culture, hospitality, affection, the comfort of the house, the atmosphere in the family, and the proximity to the school. Living standards are similar to Europe or North America.
