Our teachers
Many have worked with AISL in developing the materials used in the beginners and elementary levels. We are proud of our teachers' creativity, versatility and expertise to lead groups of students from very different cultures in their quest for learning Spanish.
Likewise, AISL's teachers are highly trained to deal with complex situations which may occur in the more advanced courses; and discuss topics proposed by the students, including specialized aspects of Argentine culture, history, economy or politics.
Academic Director
Isabel holds an B.A. in Languages from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), as well as an M.A. in teaching Spanish as a second language.
Isabel has taught Spanish to foreign visitors in several schools in Buenos Aires over the past 12 years, and has organized and coordinated teaching activities and staff.
Isabel's experiences in the field have led her to develope, together with AISL's team, a series of specialized materials which reflect our shared vision and passionate interest in teaching.

We like colors, and the gracious blending of antique and modern, experience and experimentation. We find diversity stimulating, and are serious but fun-loving, with a sense of humor. We would like our home to express all this to you.
Search
Group Courses
These classes are small, typically only 3 to 6 students, with similar levels of proficiency. AISL keeps classes small so that we can provide students with lots of personal attention.
AISL recommends the group classes to students who will be making longer visits, especially if they are interested in complementing their language studies with other cultural, sightseeing, and social experiences.
Home-stay
- Breakfast is included. Dinner can be provided at home (optional).
- Comfortable private or double rooms, with private or shared bathroom.
- AISL chooses your home-stay based on your preferences (smoking/non-smoking; couple with children/no children; etc) and your specific requirements (specific diet, no pets, etc.)
- Students staying with host families have total freedom to come and go as they please since they have their own house key.
- Host families homes are located in neighborhoods close to AISL and the city center. All families have been carefully selected and are monitored so that your home stay experience is to your complete satisfaction. AISL considers the level of culture, hospitality, affection, the comfort of the house, the atmosphere in the family, and the proximity to the school. Living standards are similar to Europe or North America.
